How an IPTV player licence works with Playova
IPTV players are sold in very different ways: a fee per television tied to its MAC address, a lifetime code, or a subscription. This page explains what you pay for with Playova and what you do not.
In short
A Playova licence lets you watch with the player; it does not buy channels. Basic covers one device for 12 months and does not renew automatically. Plus covers up to five supported devices on one Playova account and renews yearly. Both start after a 14-day trial that begins when you add your first source.
Basic or Plus
Basic suits one screen: one assigned device for 12 months, without automatic renewal and without syncing your place between devices. Plus suits a household: up to five supported devices with one Playova account, with your place in films and episodes and your ratings kept in step between them.
Basic bought on a phone can be assigned to an LG or Samsung TV through the phone app; the phone then loses it, and later TV transfers wait 30 days.
No MAC activation fee
Playova does not activate by the MAC address of a television and does not charge an activation fee per device. A plan follows your store purchase or your Playova account.
No lifetime plan
Playova does not sell a lifetime licence. Basic lasts 12 months; Plus renews each year and you can cancel it in the store you bought it from.
The trial
The 14-day trial opens every supported paid feature. It starts when you add your first source, not when you install the app, and it does not ask for payment details. When it ends, your sources and history stay; watching needs Basic or Plus.

Does a Playova licence include channels?
No. It covers the player. Channels come from the provider you subscribe to.
