Watch up to four channels at once on Fire TV
Multiview puts two, three or four live channels on one screen. It is useful for following several matches or keeping the news on while something else plays. Before you open more screens, check how many connections your subscription allows.
In short
Multiview in Playova for Fire TV (Fire OS) plays up to four live channels together: two side by side, or a grid for three or four. Each screen is a separate stream from your source, so every screen uses one of the connections your provider allows.
Check your connection allowance first
Many IPTV subscriptions allow one or two streams at a time. Four screens need four free connections, counted separately for each source. Recording and other devices on the same subscription use that allowance too. Playova cannot add connections to your subscription; ask your provider if you are not sure of the limit.
Open multiview
Start a live channel, open multiview from the player and add the channels you want. Two channels sit side by side; three or four use a grid. Move the focus with the remote to choose which screen you hear. You can take channels from different sources in one layout, within each source's allowance.
Save a layout
Give a layout a name to reopen it later. Layouts are kept for the current profile and the source you started from, so a family member's profile keeps its own.
When a screen will not start or buffers
First check that each channel plays on its own. If they work one by one but struggle together, the source may have no free connection, or the device and network may be carrying too much. Try fewer screens, or a lower quality version of the channel if your source offers one. Four simultaneous 4K streams are not something to expect from a streaming stick.
