Keep the current video visible
Picture in picture lets you watch the current video in a separate small window while using other windows on your Windows PC. It is useful when you want to keep an eye on a programme while working elsewhere. The feature continues the current video rather than opening a second channel.
Enter and leave picture in picture
Start a video from your own source, then select Picture in picture in the player controls to request the floating video window. Select the control again to leave picture in picture and return to the main player. This requires the player’s picture in picture support.
The feature image shows the launch control in the player. Use that control during actual playback to try the separate window with your stream. Both paid Basic and Plus include picture in picture.
Playback conditions still apply
The video must remain available from your source, and streaming still needs a working connection. Picture in picture does not increase your provider’s simultaneous connection allowance or download the video for offline use. If playback itself is unavailable, check the source and connection first. Playova provides no channels or content; the small window displays the video you are already watching.
